A proven formulation of phenol, eugenol and formic aldehyde enables rapid mummification of teeth with acute pulpitis. Prior use of Lignocaine anaesthetic, in the first instance, is suggested, to alleviate acute pain. Applying the solution to a “hot pulp” Cresotin Liquid No.2 will fix the pulp tissues making them friable, parchment like and easily removable. The root canal system will be effectively rendered sterile.
Frequently used with Calcetin
(Partial substitute for the no longer available Cresophene, does not contain, the steroid, Dexamethasone)
(A great alternative to Ledermix or Odontopaste)
